Colleen Peoples

Colleen was born and raised in Mackay. She lived with her husband on their farm in Finch Hatton for 30 years and upon becoming an “empty nester” decided to take on studies and now, 13 years later, is still happily working as a tax consultant.

Colleen says she loves the friendly camaraderie and banter at Power2, the support from everyone, the fast-paced environment, learning opportunities and the lovely clients she meets every day. Colleen’s aim during meetings is to understand her client, provide understanding and ensure that every appointment is an experience tailored for that particular client.

In her off time, she loves baking and accepts no responsibility for the expanded waistlines of her fellow staff. She also likes reading and family time as a newly fledged Nanma. Colleen agrees with team member Sarah that the best way to stimulate the economy is to support the local hospitality industry in these difficult times.
